Hand-built wood-fired ovens, made in Cape Town

Eco Pizza Ovens grew from hands-on experience in the building industry and in specialist masonry fireplaces. Our founder worked up from entry-level construction work to foreman roles on residential and commercial sites, then spent years building imported European masonry fireplaces.

Customers began asking whether the same firebrick and masonry skills could be used to build pizza ovens. The first oven was built for a doctor in Stellenbosch. Friends saw it, asked for ovens of their own, and the work grew through word of mouth.

What began as a single project became Eco Pizza Ovens. Along the way we developed our residential oven ranges, our commercial brick ovens and our signature insulated floor system. Today, every oven is made by our own team and checked through each production stage before it leaves the workshop.
